Principals Of Excellence

There had been some New York City public schools that were falling behind. It had been a greate challenge for the principals to find a solution. Four principals took on the challenge and changed their school to become one of the best schools in NYC. Time Warner recognized four principals for quality leadership and dedication to the young people of NYC. These principals are Alan D. Cohen of P.S. 69X, Alice Hom of Yung Wing Elementary P.S. 124, Dr. Sandye Poitier-Johnson of Thurgood Marshall Academy, and Ruth N. Quiles P.S. 131. Their school received 20,000 dollars and they were given 5,000 dollars each.
